Dr. Verhaeghe earned her medical degree from A.T. Still University of Health Sciences-Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine in Kirksville, Mo. She completed her pediatric residency at the University of Oklahoma-Tulsa and her neonatal-perinatal residency at St. Louis University in 2019. Dr. Verhaeghe’s background includes participation in several clinical and bench research projects during her career. Rebecca has presented her work in numerous poster and oral presentations.

Dr. Verhaeghe joined Sunflower in 2019. She lives in Olathe with her husband and young daughter.
